Huntingdon jumps to No. 5 in West Tennessee High School Football Rankings after Week 10

One more week is all that remains in the 2025 high school football season.

There were some big games in Week 10, but there were no major upsets, so no team dropped out of the rankings this week.

But Week 11 has the chance to be the best week of the season.

Region titles will be decided in 6-1A as McKenzie plays McEwen, 7-2A as Milan hosts Peabody, 7-3A as Westview hosts Covington and Region 8-4A as Haywood hosts Kirby.

But two region titles were decided last week at Dresden won Region 7-1A and South Gibson won Region 7-4A.

So here are the top 15 teams in West Tennessee heading into Week 11 action:

1. Westview (8-0) – The Chargers beat Dyersburg 65-30 in Region 7-3A play. Next week: Home vs. Covington. Last week: No. 1.

2. Milan (8-0) – The Bulldogs did not play. Next week: Home vs. Peabody. Last week: No. 2.

3. Munford (9-0) – The Cougars beat Germantown 29-24. Next week: Home vs. Memphis Central. Last week: No. 3.

4. Covington (9-0) – The Chargers beat McNairy Central 62-0 in Region 7-3A play. Next week: At Westview. Last week: No. 4.

5. Huntingdon (8-1) – The Mustangs beat Peabody 40-21 in Region 7-2A play. Next week: Home vs. Union City. Last week: No. 6.

6. McKenzie (8-1) – The Rebels beat Wayne County 41-0 in Regio6-1A play. Next week: Home vs. McEwen. Last week: No. 7.

7. South Gibson (6-3) – The Hornets beat North Side 49-31 in Region 7-4A play. Next week: At Hardin County. Last week: Nol. 8.

8. Peabody (8-1) – The Golden Tide lost to Huntingdon 40-21 in Region 7-2A play. Next week: At Milan. Last week: No. 5.

9. Haywood (7-2) – The Tomcats beat Ridgeway 65-12 in Region 8-4A play. Next week: Home vs. Kirby. Last week: No. 9.

10. USJ (8-1) – The Bruins beat Tipton-Rosemark 17-7 in Division II-A West Region play. Next week: Home vs. Jackson Christian. Last week: No. 10.

11. Crockett County (7-2) – The Cavaliers beat Chester County 41-7 in Region 7-4A play. Next week: Home vs. South Side. Last week: No. 11.

12. TCA (7-2) – The Lions beat DCA 42-7 in Division II-A West Region play. Next week: Home vs. Tipton-Rosemark. Last week: No. 12.

13. Jackson Christian (8-1) – The Eagles beat FACS 38-13 in Division II-A West region play. Next week: At USJ. Last week: No. 13.

14. Lexington (7-2) – The Tigers beat Hardin County 35-7 in Region 7-4A play. Next week: At Dyer County. Last week: No. 14.

15. Dyer County (7-2) – The Choctaws beat South Side 63-14 in Region 7-4A play. Next week: Home vs. Lexington. Last week: No. 15.
