Melissa Mitchum

Funeral services for Ms. Melissa Mitchum, 51, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2025 in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Fonville officiating. Entombment followed at Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, Tenn.

Ms. Mitchum passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025 at her home.

She was born in Jackson to John Will Mitchum Jr. and Natalie Craft. Ms. Mitchum had previously been employed with Toyota Bodine in Jackson. She was a member of New Hopewell Church of Medina.

Ms. Mitchum was preceded in death by her father, John Will “J. W.” Mitchum, Jr.

She is survived by her mother, Natalie Craft; sister, Alison McKnight; step-brother, Roger Smith and wife Sandy; nephews, Blake McKnight and wife Lyndsay, John Clayton McKnight; and great-nephew and niece, Wyatt and Norah.
