Bob Gene Hammons

Bob Gene Hammons, 91, of Covington, died Monday, August 26, 2024 in Jackson.

Mr. Hammons served in the U.S. Army, and worked in the field of micronutrient engineering.

He leaves four children: Estes (Mary), Teresa (Charlie), Barry (Joann) and Renee (Kristie), and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; and his son, Michael.

Visitation was held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3 at Maley-Yarborough Funeral Home in Covington, with services following at 11 a.m.
