Thomas Lanier Humphreys

Graveside services for Mr. Thomas Lanier Humphreys, 85, will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home.

Mr. Humphreys, a real estate appraiser and lifelong member of the Church of Christ, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Christian Care Center in Medina surrounded by his family.

Mr. Humphreys was an avid golfer and loved to travel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mozelle Humphreys.

Mr. Humphreys is survived by his loving wife, Julia Humphreys; a daughter, Elizabeth Lynch (Shane) of Humboldt; a son, Hal Humphreys (Kim) of Nashville; a sister, Kay Varner (Don) of Canton, MS; two grandchildren, Ann Elizabeth Parrish and Trey Lynch; and two great grandchildren, Judith Parrish and Rory Parrish.
