Henry County becomes new No. 1 in West Tennessee Basketball Rankings after Week 5

Christmas tournaments are hard to gauge when dealing with high school basketball rankings.

University School of Jackson girls went to Phoenix, Ariz. To play in the Tournament of Champions and took a couple of losses. Dyersburg and South Gibson went to White County to play in a tournament and took losses also.

Punishing teams for playing tough competition seems wrong.

But Henry County boys stayed undefeated after 10 games and moved into the No. 1 spot in the boys’ rankings.

There is also a new No. 1 team on the boys’ side as North Side is undefeated through eight games.

Here are the top 15 high school basketball teams going into Week 6 of the season:

BOYS
