South Gibson girls, North Side boys move up to No. 3 in West Tennessee Basketball Rankings after Week 2

We are now two weeks into the 2025-26 high school basketball season, and there are great games going on almost every night.

Some teams have started off light as football players transition to the hardwood, while others have played a tough schedule already.

There is one new team in the rankings this week, and that is Adamsville girls, who beat a ranked McNairy Central team by one point.

While the top two slots in the rankings remain the same, both rankings have a new team at No. 3.

So going into Week 3, here are the top 15 boys and girls teams in West Tennessee:

BOYS

1. Fayette-Ware (4-0) – Results: Beat West Memphis Christian (Ark.) 67-43; Beat Haywood 93-60. This week: Tuesday vs. JCM; Friday vs. Desoto Royal Hurricanes; Saturday vs. Wooddale. Last week: No. 1.
