George Richard Morin Sr.
Funeral mass for Mr. George Richard Morin, Sr., 61, was held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2024 in the Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home Chapel in Humboldt with burial following in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Visitation was Friday, November 29, 2024 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home.
Mr. George Richard Morin, Sr., loving brother, father, and grandfather, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 in the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was affectionately called “Chickenhawk” by his coworkers, friends, and family. He was a professional driver and dedicated employee for the Dement Family and their businesses.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eustorjio and Ninfa Morin; and two brothers, Robert Morin and Gary Morin.
Mr. Morin, Sr. is survived by two daughters, Jennifer K. Hernandez of Houston, Tex. and Mikayla R. Dudley (Xavian) of Humboldt, Tenn.; a son, George Morin, Jr. (Shannon E.) of Bolivar, Tenn.; two sisters, Velma Ann Morin of Medina, Tenn. and Ida Morin of Jackson, Tenn/; a brother, Eustorjio Morin, Jr. of Kenton, Tenn.; and three grandchildren, Lily Grace Morin, Omar Gabriel Hernandez and George Wyatt Morin.
