Suspect at large in Dyer burglary

An alleged armed robbery attempt on Independence Day has Dyer authorities looking for a man with Humboldt ties.
Police are seeking Kaminski Stephon Turner, 21, whose last known address is Humboldt.
On July 4, 2017 officers were dispatched to 372 East Maple Street in Dyer on a report of a person being assaulted with a gun.
On arrival, officers spoke with Dalantus Fussell, according to a Dyer police report.
Fussell said he was picked up to go ride with one of his friends, Dominique Vaughn. He stated when he got into the vehicle, Kaminski Stephon Turner came out from the back of the car and held a gun to his head and took his wallet and threaten to kill him.
Fussell told officers Turner has been threatening him for several months and he asked him to leave him alone, but he has kept threatening him.
According the Dyer PD, Turner will be charged with aggravated burglary. Charges were filed also on Vaughn for criminal responsibility for facilitation of a felony for calling Fussell to get him into the vehicle for Turner.
Vaughn was apprehended on July 5, 2017 for aggravated robbery and is still being held at the Gibson County Jail.
Turner has still not been taken into custody as of this report. He is a black male, 21 years of age, 5’9” and approximately 200 pounds. Turner’s last known address is Humboldt.
