Stick a fork in cancer celebrity event

North Gibson County Relay for Life will be hosting a Celebrity Waiter Dinner and Silent Auction Event on Saturday, June 10 at 6:30 p.m.  The event will take place in the Gibson Co. High School Auxiliary Gym.

This event is being hosted in lieu of the traditional Relay for Life.  If you and your family normally join in on the fun of Relay night, we encourage you to purchase your tickets and participate in this year’s dinner and auction.  If Relay is not something your family has participated in in the past, this is the perfect opportunity for you to get involved.

There will be fun for all ages as the entertainment this year is Mysterious Mike the Magician.  Local “celebrities” will be serving the tables and competing with each other to see who can raise the most money for the American Cancer Society.  A little friendly competition is always fun as everyone works together for a great cause.

Tickets can be purchased for $20 each at Sweet Retreat Bake Shop in Bradford, Carroll Bank & Trust in Bradford, Centennial Bank in Rutherford, The Farmers & Merchants Bank in Dyer, or the Greater Gibson Co. Chamber of Commerce in Trenton.  A wonderful dinner will be enjoyed along with entertainment, a silent auction, and the Luminaria Ceremony on the football field at 8:30 pm.

Deadline to purchase tickets is June 7.  This will be the main event for Gibson-North Relay for Life this year.  Please do your part in making a difference.
