Crockett County up to No. 7 in West Tennessee Football Rankings after Week 4

Thunderstorms worked through West Tennessee on Friday night causing multiple games to be postponed a few hours. One game was postponed until Saturday, and another was sent to Oct. 16.

Trinity Christian Academy didn’t get anything out of Week 3 as Westwood decided to head back to Memphis and not try to play.

But most games were played, and there were some interesting results. Crockett County bounced back from last week’s loss to Lexington to beat Dyer County, Haywood had 529 yards of offense to beat Lakeland Prep, Humboldt got to score one touchdown before the game was ended in the first quarter and Milan took a second-straight loss.

But the 2026 season is now a month over, and the midpoint of the season is two weeks away.

So here are the new West Tennessee High School Football Rankings after Week 4 action:

1. Westview (4-0) – Result: Beat Obion County 69-7. This week: Home vs. McNairy Central. Last week: No. 1.

2. Munford (3-0) – Result: Beat Woodford County (Ky.) 34-30. This week: Home vs. Haywood. Last week: No. 2

3. Huntingdon (4-0) – Result: Beat Halls 62-30. This week: At JCM. Last week: No. 3.

4. Lexington (4-0) – Result: Beat North Side 48-34. This week: At Chester County. Last week: No. 4.

5. Jackson Christian (4-0) – Result: Beat St. George’s 32-28. This week: At Fayette Academy. Last week: No. 5.

6. USJ (3-1) – Result: Beat Fayette Academy 28-7. This week: At FACS. Last week: No. 6.

7. Crockett County (3-1) – Result: Beat Dyer County 40-7. This week: At Hardin County. Last week: 8.
