North Side boys become new No. 1 in West Tennessee Basketball Rankings after Week 4

As the 2025-26 high school basketball nears the midway point to the season, four new teams moved into the rankings this week, after there were three new teams in last week’s rankings.

Huntingdon and Tipton-Rosemark enter the boys’ rankings, while Dyer County and McNairy Central enter the girls’ rankings.

This is the last full week of games before the season enters into a two-week Christmas break.

There is also a new No. 1 team on the boys’ side as North Side is undefeated through eight games.

Here are the top 15 high school basketball teams going into Week 5 of the season:

BOYS

1. North Side (8-0) – Results: Beat Ripley 51-46; Beat Madison 70-46; Beat Westview 66-59. This week: Friday at Jackson Christian; Saturday vs. USJ (at Jackson Christian). Last week: No. 2.
