Four new teams join West Tennessee Basketball Rankings after Week 1

The week of Hall of Champions games is in the book. Some of the boys’ teams are missing players due to football playoffs still going on.

But after the first week of the season, there will always be some big changes. There are three new teams in the rankings this week. On the boys’ side, Camden, Jackson Christian and Ripley played there way into the rankings.

On the girls’ side, Henry County entered the rankings. But there is also a new team in the No. 1 spot in the girls’ rankings.

So going into Week 2, here are the top 15 boys and girls teams in West Tennessee:

BOYS

1. Fayette-Ware (2-0) – Results: Beat St. Benedict 73-43; Beat Hamilton 62-44. This week: Tuesday vs. West Memphis Christian (Miss.); Friday at Haywood. Last week: No. 1.
