Knowing how to pick the Weakley County teams is becoming easier, and of course, the regular season has now come to an end.

I picked all three Weakley County games correctly last week, and I am now 30-6 (.833 winning percentage) on the season when picking the county games.

I went 12-3 last week as I missed Humboldt’s win over Lakeland Prep, Dyer County’s win over Lexington and First Assembly Christian School’s win over Fayette Academy.

For the regular season, I went 117-40 (.745) with my picks. Here is is hoping to keep up that success in the first round of the playoffs with three Weakley County games among other West Tennessee matchups.

Hamilton (3-7) at Westview (9-0)

The Chargers should be able to pick their score in this one as Hamilton has given up 40 or more points five times this season.

Greenfield (6-4) at Oakhaven (7-3)

While the Hawks have scored 342 points in 10 games this season, Oakhaven has played one team – Middle College with a winning record. If Greenfield can settle in despite playing in Memphis, the Yellowjackets could pull the upset.

Middleton (4-6) at Dresden (8-2)

The Lions shouldn’t have much issue either as Middleton got into the playoffs despite losing 40-3 last week to Oakhaven. And Humboldt beat this team by 40.
