She is also survived by her only grandchild, Kathryn Roach whom she loved and adored. Eloise had several nieces and nephews and enjoyed many special visits with nephew Robert (Peggy) Haynes and niece Valerie Edgar Mied.

Affectionately nicknamed “Weesie,” Eloise was known for her homemade rolls, tasty desserts and exemplary skills as a personal seamstress for many Humboldt residents. Special longtime friends Lynn Gray and Janet DiChiara with her dog Hope shared many afternoon visits on the front porch. Loving all dogs, Eloise also enjoyed her grand-dogs, Boris and Maze. The family expresses its appreciation to the nurses and CNA staff of Avondale Health and Rehabilitation Center for the loving care given to Eloise in the final year of her life.

Her daughters have honored her wishes for cremation and no service will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Humane Society of Lincoln County, P.O. Box 37, Fayetteville, TN 37334; or First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 2375 Mitchell Street, Humboldt, TN 38343.
