Can I say that I went perfect in my Weakley County picks last week? Yes, I know only one Weakley County team play, but I did get it right.

Greenfield went down to Hardeman County and put 55 points on the board to give Don Pitt his 50th win of his career.

Overall, I went 13-2 on the week with my two misses coming on Peabody’s win over Jackson Central-Merry and Covington’s win over Haywood.

All four Weakley County teams play this week, including an all-Weakley County affair between Dresden and Gleason.

Overall, I am 102-28 (.785 winning percentage) with my picks this season.

The Lions still have an outside chance of making the Class 1A playoffs, but they must beat both of the other Weakley County 1A teams over the next two weeks. Dresden is playing its best of the season, so will that continue?

The playoffs are all in the hands of the Yellowjackets. Two wins to end the season, and Greenfield will be the No. 4 seed from Region 7-1A. But the Falcons have been tough all season.

McNairy Central (2-6, 1-4 7-3A) at Westview (8-0, 5-0)

The Chargers CAN’T focus on Covington in Week 11 just yet. McNairy Central has struggled for wins this season, but they are under a new head coach and playing better than last season. Westview must come ready to play.
