Westview moves up to No. 3 in West Tennessee Football Rankings after Week 9

Two weeks is all that remains in the 2024 regular season, and there are going to be some great games in the final two weeks.

Region 6-2A is wide open with five teams fighting for playoff spots, Covington and Westview have proven to be the best in Region 7-3A,

Region 6-4A has plenty of room for movement and Haywood still has to play two ranked teams in Region 7-4A.

So saddle up for the final two weeks of regular season play because they are going to be fun.

But here are the top 15 teams in West Tennessee after Week 9:

1. Covington (8-0) – Result: Beat Haywood 41-20. This week: At Ripley. Last week: No. 1.

2. McKenzie (8-0) – Result: Bye week. This week: At Giles County. Last week: No. 2.

3. Westview (8-0) – Result: Bye week. This week: Home vs. McNairy Central. Last week: No. 4.

4. Munford (8-1) – Result: Beat Lausanne 46-43. This week: Bye week. Last week: No. 5.

5. Haywood (6-2) – Result: Lost to Covington 41-20. This week: At Crockett County. Last week: No. 3.

6. Milan (7-1) – Result: Beat Trezevant 42-8. This week: Home vs. Peabody. Last week: No. 7.
