Accident On Liberty Street disrupts power
Early Tuesday afternoon, a truck from JP Automotive ran off the road into the light pole at the corner of Liberty and Van Hook Street taking out power to the light at the intersection.
Traffic was temporarily blocked from College Street to W Cunningham St and starting at Highland Ave on Van Hook due to downed power lines.
The driver of the truck was not injured in the accident and no other vehicles or individuals were involved.
Milan Public Utilities crews were on the scene working to repair the light pole and restore power at the time of reporting.
