On 247 Sports, Shivers is listed at 6-foot, 3.5-inches and weighing 255 pounds. In March, he committed to play college football at the University of Georgia.
He is a three-star athlete that is considered the No. 12 recruit in the state of Tennessee and No. 44 defensive lineman in the class of 2025.
Shivers was a two-sport athlete for the Vikings, playing football and basketball. He was a stud on both the offensive and defensive lines at Humboldt, and he was the co-All-Gibson County boys basketball player of the year with teammate Fred Moore for the 2023-24 season. Shivers averaged 15.8 points, 11.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists.
Humboldt went 0-10 last season. Hayden Williams took over as head coach during the off season.
Brentwood went 2-10 last year, but reached the Division II-AAA state quarterfinals with a win over Briarcrest Christian in the opening round. But Brentwood Academy’s offense is led by five-star quarterback George MacIntyre, who is a Tennessee commitment.
