Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Carolyn Pillow, 83, were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 28, 2021 in the Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home chapel. Visitation was Friday from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Pillow, a retired employee of Brown Shoe Company in Humboldt and member of First Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Humboldt, Tenn., passed away on Monday May 24, 2021 at her residence in Bradenton, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mackie Pillow; parents, Clyde and Clara (Haley) Owens; and two brothers, Harold Owens and Johnny Owens.

Mrs. Pillow is survived by a daughter, Carol Jane Whitman (Ronnie) of Bradenton, Fla.; a son, Philip Pillow (Gail) of Humboldt; a sister, Betty Owens of Hendersonville, Nev.; three grandchildren, Lisa Rojas (Will), Cindy Gibson (Jay) and Amanda Jercinovich (Eric); and two great-grandchildren, Callie Rojas and Austin Gibson.
