In 2010 my husband Robert Charles Evans met Dick in Coos Bay, OR. This was the man on his birth certificate. Dick was wonderfully funny, but later he said he was not the father. Bob’s son Nick did his DNA and found markers that lead to Dick and the Evans family. Bob will be doing his DNA next month. This was a. unwanted child since 1958. He just wants to find some real family. Thank you

Hi Jacqueline, I am Ruth Ann Evans, wife of Dick’s son Richard. Rich is one of Dick’s sons. Today, Rich’s brother Randy told us about your comment on his Dad’s Obituary page. We had no idea that Dick had another son, although we had heard rumors over the years. We would love to make contact with all of you. Rich was born in April 1960 and was the first born of Dick’s acknowledged sons. Dick had three sons, Richard, who is 64, Randal, 63, and Thomas, who passed away in 2021. He was 53.
