Robert White Davenport

Robert White Davenport of Humboldt, Tenn. is in the care of Medina Funeral Home.  The family will hold a graveside service 2 p.m. Thursday, March 2, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Humboldt.
Mr. Davenport was born in Gibson County on May 26, 1926 and departed this life February 25, 2016 at Bailey Park CLC in Humboldt.
He was married to the love of his life, Georgia Davenport, for 67 years.
Mr. Davenport was an avid golfer. His wife stated that he loved to play whenever he could.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chamus and Beulah Davenport Sr.; sisters, Cola Williams, Liz Silverstine, Betty Malone and Aline Pitts; and brothers, Chamus Davenport Jr., Wayne Davenport and James Davenport.
Mr. Davenport is survived by his wife, Georgia Davenport; son, Bobby Davenport; and grandson, Christopher Davenport.
