South Fulton joins West Tennessee Football Rankings after Week 6

The midpoint of the 2026 season has come and gone, and now we are on the back stretch. There is a full week this week, and then half weeks in Week 8 and Week 9 due to bye games on Fall Break and then there are two more weeks before the playoffs.

South Fulton picked up a fourth win on the season to enter the West Tennessee High School Football Rankings for the first time.

One undefeated dropped off as Munford lost to 6A Whitehaven, but there is still planet of football to be played this season.

So here are the new West Tennessee High School Football Rankings after Week 6 action:

1. Westview (6-0) – Result: Beat Lausanne 42-24. This week: At Ripley. Last week: No. 1.

2. Huntingdon (6-0) – Result: Beat Gibson County 55-0. This week: At Riverside. Last week: No. 3.

3. Lexington (6-0) – Result: Beat South Side 72-14. This week: At South Gibson. Last week: No. 4.

4. Munford (4-1) – Result: Lost to Whitehaven 40-13. This week: Home vs. Kingsbury. Last week: No. 2

5. Jackson Christian (6-0) – Result: Beat Tipton-Rosemark 41-14. This week: At Trinity Christian Academy. Last week: No. 5.
