USJ boys join West Tennessee Basketball Rankings after Week 6

To start the 2025-26 season, the University School of Jackson boys basketball team lost its first six games. A big reason for that is that the football team reached the Division II-A state championship game, and it wasn’t until after those six games that the basketball team got those football players back.

Since getting the full team together, USJ has gone 6-2 with wins over South Side and North Side and most recently Dyer County to open Point Guard Coca-Cola Christmas Tournament at Huntingdon.

Because of this recent winning streak, the Bruins are the newest team to be included in the West Tennessee High School Basketball Rankings after six weeks.

Here are the top 15 high school basketball teams going into Week 7 of the season:

BOYS
