Week 7 might have been my best week of the season! I went 13-2 and got all four Weakley County games correct.

I am now 20-6 (.769 winning percentage) in my Weakley County picks.

The two games that I missed last week were South Gibson’s win over Lexington and Trinity Christian Academy’s win over Jackson Christian.

So after seven weeks of picks, I am 79-26 (.752) with my picks overall.

Here is hoping for another strong week in Week 8:

Bolivar (3-4, 1-3 7-3A) at Westview (6-0, 3-0)

When: 7 p.m., Friday

The Chargers shouldn’t have any issues staying unbeaten in this one, but they still have Dyersburg and Covington remaining in the final two weeks.

West Carroll (1-6, 0-4 7-1A) at Gleason (2-5, 1-2)

When: 7 p.m., Friday

Gleason has three winnable games ahead of them to close out the season starting with this one. If the Bulldogs want to make the Class 1A playoffs, a win here is a must.

Greenfield (4-3, 2-1 7-1A) at Dresden (5-2, 3-0)

When: 7 p.m., Friday

Both of these teams are playing their best ball of the season. The Lions have won five straight games with three shutouts, while the Yellowjackets have won three straight games with one shutout. Don’t expect either team to shutout the other in this one though.
