TCA enters West Tennessee High School Football Rankings after Week 7

With a late field goal, the Trinity Christian Academy football team gave Jackson Christian its first loss on the season.

And with that win, the Lions are now ranked in the West Tennessee High School Football Rankings after Week 7 action.

There are still seven teams that remain unbeaten after seven weeks of the season, so who can make it through the next month unscathed and enter the playoffs with a perfect record?

Here are the top 15 teams in West Tennessee heading into Week 8 action:

1. Westview (6-0) – The Chargers beat Ripley 62-6 in Region 7-3A play. Next week: Home vs. Bolivar. Last week: No. 1.

2. Milan (7-0) – The Bulldogs beat Union City 35-13 in Region 7-2A play. Next week: Bye week. Last week: No. 2.

3. Munford (6-0) – The Cougars beat Kingsbury 57-0 in Region 8-5A play. Next week: At Memphis Overton. Last week: No. 3.

4. Covington (7-0) – The Chargers beat Bolivar 62-7 in Region 7-3A play. Next week: Bye week. Last week: No. 4.
