South Fulton enters West Tennessee High School Football Rankings after Week 6

How is the 2025 season already half over? It feels like just last week we were in 7-on-7 camps sweating the whole time.

But most teams are through at least five games on their schedule.

South Fulton has been a team on the cusp of getting into the top 15. The Red Devils were forced to play the last three games on the road, and they came away with three wins to stay unbeaten – Greenfield (21-20), Perry County (17-6) and Ballard Memorial (Ky.) 41-0.

South Fulton is the latest team to join the rankings.

So here are the top 15 teams in West Tennessee heading into Week 7 action:

1. Westview (5-0) – The Chargers beat Lausanne 37-34. Next week: Home vs. Ripley. Last week: No. 1.

2. Milan (6-0) – The Bulldogs beat Jackson Central-Merry 21-7 in Region 7-2A play. Next week: Home at Union City. Last week: No. 2.

3. Munford (5-0) – The Cougars beat Whitehaven 36-35 in overtime. Next week: Home vs. Kinsbury. Last week: No. 3.

4. Covington (6-0) – The Chargers beat Ripley 58-0 in Region 7-3A play. Next week: At Bolivar. Last week: No. 4.

5. Peabody (6-0) – The Golden Tide beat Union City 28-7 in Regio 7-2A play. Next week: Home vs. Halls. Last week: No. 5.

6. Jackson Christian (6-0) – The Eagles beat Tipton-Rosemark 42-13 in Division II-A West Region play. Next week: Home vs. Trinity Christian Academy. Last week: No. 6.

7. USJ (6-0) – The Bruins beat Harding Academy 58-8 in Division II-A West Region play. Next week: Home vs. Memphis East. Last week: No. 7.

8. Haywood (4-2) – The Tomcats bat Fayette-Ware 53-16 in Region 8-4A play. Next week: At Millington. Last week: No. 8.

9. Huntingdon (5-1) – The Mustangs beat Gibson County 44-6 in Region 7-2A play. Next week: Home vs. Riverside. Last week: No. 9.

10. Crockett County (5-1) – The Cavaliers beat North Side 28-26 in Region 7-4A play. Next week: Home vs. Dyersburg. Last week: No. 11.

11. Lexington (5-1) – The Tigers beat South Side 28-20 in Region 7-4A play. Next week: Home vs. South Gibson. Last week: No. 12.

12. McKenzie (5-1) – The Rebels beat Chester County 41-7. Next week: At Collinwood. Last week: No. 14.

13. Adamsville (4-1) – The Cardinals beat Tishomingo County (Miss.) 41-14. Next week: At Mt. Pleasant. Last week: No. 15.

14. South Fulton (5-0) – The Red Devils beat Ballard Memorial (Ky.) 41-0. Next week: Home vs. Gleason. Last week: Not ranked.

15. North Side (3-2) – The Indians lost to Crockett County 28-26 in Region 7-4A play. Next week: At Hardin County. Last week: No. 13.

Dropped out: Dyer County (4-2).

On the bubble: Dresden (4-2); Dyersburg (5-1); TCA (4-2).
