Peabody moves up to No. 5 in West Tennessee High School Football Rankings after Week 4

By the end of this week, there will be several West Tennessee teams that are halfway done with the 2025 season. It feels like the season just started.

But many teams have played one to two region contests and several are getting ready to have their bye week over the next three weeks.

There are no new teams in the West Tennessee High School Football Rankings, but there were several teams that moved around.

So here are the top 15 teams in West Tennessee heading into Week 5 action:

1. Westview (3-0) – The Chargers beat Obion County 57-13 in Region 7-3A play. Next week: At McNairy Central. Last week: No. 1.

2. Milan (4-0) – The Bulldogs beat Chattanooga Prep 27-6. Next week: At Gibson County. Last week: No. 2.

3. Munford (3-0) – The Cougars beat Woodford County (Ky.) 49-35. Next week: At Haywood. Last week: No. 3.

4. Covington (4-0) – The Chargers beat Brighton 49-0. Next week: Home vs. Obion County. Last week: No. 4.

5. Peabody (4-0) – The Golden Tide beat Jackson Central-Merry 45-21 in Region 7-2A play. Next week: Home vs. Douglass. Last week: No. 8.

6. Haywood (3-1) – The Tomcats beat Lakeland Prep 45-27 in Region 8-4A play. Next week: Home vs. Munford. Last week: No. 6.

7. Adamsville (3-0) – The Cardinals beat Riverside 46-6 in Region 5-2A play. Next week: Home vs. Lewis County. Last week: No. 9.

8. Jackson Christian (4-0) – The Eagles beat St. George’s 40-10. Next week: Home vs. Fayette Academy. Last week: No. 10.

9. USJ (4-0) – The Bruins beat Fayette Academy 55-0 in Division II-A West Region play. Next week: Home vs. FACS. Last week: No. 11.

10. Dyer County (4-0) – The Choctaws beat Crockett County 28-20 in Region 7-4A play. Next week: Home vs. North Side. Last week: No. 14.

11. Huntingdon (3-1) – The Mustangs beat Halls 49-6 in Region 7-2A play. Next week: Home vs. JCM. Last week: No. 12.

12. Crockett County (3-1) – The Cavaliers lost to Dyer County 28-20 in Region 7-4A play. Next week: Home vs. Hardin County. Last week: No. 5.

13. McKenzie (3-1) – The Rebels beat Perry County 42-0 in Region 6-1A play. Next week: Home vs. Camden. Last week: No. 13.

14. Lexington (3-1) – The Tigers beat North Side 30-20 in Region 7-4A play. Next week: Home vs. Chester County. Last week: No. 15.

15. North Side (2-1) – The Indians lost to Lexington 30-20 in Region 7-4A play. Next week: At Dyer County. Last week: No. 7.
