West Tennessee high school football playoff scenarios for 2024

The final week of the high school football regular season is here. Teams have battled for 10 weeks for the best record and best chance to earn a spot in the playoffs.

Everything will be decided this week. Here are the playoff scenarios for the West Tennessee football regions.

Region 6-1A

McKenzie is the No. 1 seed.

The winner of the Houston County-McEwen game is the No. 2 seed. The loser is the No. 3 seed.

West Carroll is the No. 4 seed.

Region 7-1A

Union City is the No. 1 seed.

If South Fulton beats Humboldt and Halls beats Gleason, South Fulton is No. 2, Halls is No. 3 and Lake County is No. 4.

If Lake County beats Union City, Humboldt beats South Fulton and Halls beats Gleason, Halls is No. 2, Lake County is No. 3 and South Fulton is No. 4.

If Lake County beats Union City, South Fulton beats Humboldt and Gleason beats Halls, South Fulton is No. 2, Lake County is No. 3 and Halls is No. 4.

If Lake County beats Union City, Humboldt beats South Fulton and Gleason beats Halls, Lake County is No. 2, South Fulton is No. 3 and Halls is No. 4.

Region 6-2A

If Milan beats Riverside and Huntingdon beats Peabody, Milan is No. 1, Huntingdon is No. 2, JCM is No. 3 and Riverside is No. 4.

If Milan beats Riverside and Peabody beats Huntingdon, Milan is No. 1, Peabody is No. 2, Huntingdon is No. 3 and JCM is No. 4.

If Riverside beats Milan, Huntingdon beats Peabody and JCM beats Gibson County, Huntingdon is No. 1, JCM is No. 2, Riverside is No. 3 and Milan is No. 4.

If Riverside beats Milan, Peabody beats Huntingdon and JCM beats Gibson County (a five-way tie for first place), JCM is No. 1, Milan is No. 2, Huntingdon is No. 3, Riverside is No. 4.

Region 7-3A

The winner of the Covington-Westview game is the No. 1 seed. The loser is the No. 2 seed.

If Dyersburg beats Ripley, Dyersburg is No. 3 and Bolivar is No. 4.

If Ripley beats Dyersburg and Liberty beats Bolivar, Ripley is No. 3 and Dyersburg is No. 4.

Region 6-4A

The winner of the Chester County-North Side game is the No. 1 seed. The loser is the No. 2 seed.

South Gibson is No. 3.

The winner of the Hardin County-Lexington game is No. 4.

Region 7-4A

The winner of the Dyer County-Haywood game is the No. 1 seed. The loser is the No. 2 seed.

Crockett County is No. 3.

Obion County is No. 4.

Division II-A West

The winner of the Jackson Christian-TCA game is the No. 1 seed. The loser is the No. 2 seed.

Tipton-Rosemark is No. 3.

Fayette Academy No. 4.

Division II-AA West

If Lausanne beats USJ and Northpoint Christian beats ECS, Lausanne is No. 1, Northpoint is No. 2, USJ is No. 3 and ECS is No. 4.

If USJ beats Lausanne and Northpoint Christian beats ECS, USJ is No. 1, Lausanne is No. 2, Northpoint is No. 3 and ECS is No. 4.

If Lausanne beats USJ and ECS beats Northpoint Christian, Lausanne is No. 1, USJ is No. 2, ECS is No. 3 and Northpoint is No. 4.
