Weakley County High School Football Pick’em: Semifinals

Westview’s Miles Brown (3) scores a touchdown against Melrose during the Class 3A state quarterfinals at Hardy Graham Stadium on Nov. 21, 2025.
On to the semifinals for the Westview Chargers!
Melrose thought they had a chance, but Westview’s defense led by interceptions from Miles Brown and Finn Snider said, “No!”
I correctly picked Westview’s win over Melrose, and I am now 36-7 (.837 winning percentage).
But outside of the county pick, I didn’t do so well, missing three. I went 6-3 overall, as I missed Huntingdon’s win over East Robertson, South Gibson’s win over Springfield and Centennial’s win over Henry County.
For the entire 2025 season, I am 135-46 (.746) overall with my picks.
Here is hoping for four correct picks in the semifinals:
Covington (12-1) at Westview (12-0)
For the fourth time in two years, these two teams will meet at Hardy Graham Stadium. Westview will hope for a repeat of last year when the home team had no trouble in the playoffs to beat Covington after a close regular season game.
Odom’s Pick: Westview 35, Covington 21
Best of the West
Class 1A
Fayetteville (7-5) at McKenzie (12-1)
Odom’s Pick: McKenzie
Class 2A
Huntingdon (12-1) at Milan (12-0)
Odom’s Pick: Milan
Class 4A
South Gibson (10-3) at Pearl Cohn (9-4)
Odom’s Pick: Pearl Cohn
